Journal notes - July 2022

[NOTE - this is an incomplete entry of some of my journal notes from this month.]

• A lot can be said about the pandemic resurgence and how complacency follows a periods of progress. Basically, this is the result of human behavior, which doesn't say much about our species. 7-14-22
• Plenty of challenges this week... 7-16-22

• ​Words coming to my mind randomly this evening. Colonial, fixture, orgasm, penance, toxicology, embrace, melon, placard, and widget. / The day has been busy with school work and I have stayed on schedule.  /  Random thoughts - Sylvia Plath had as many issues withe her mother as she did her father. /  When I think of T. S. Eloit, I automatically think of. old, even before I think of how extraordinary he was as a poet.  / There are things that could happen to make this a better day. /. I thin of -- (the dash) every time I think of Emily Dickinson. / Is there an acceptance letter around the corner?  Yes? No? Maybe so?  7-17-22
• Once we told ourselves (each other) all we knew in one night. How we fit all that knowledge into a tiny amount of time but we did. Love has magical powers. 7-17-22
  
• I'm in the second day of frustration today. It includes sadness. I'm trying to deal with it the best I can. I don't want it to be a pattern. I'm trying my best  7-21-22
• The crust of a perfect household /is never mired in dust./ But it is there upon the surface.    7-21-22
• Class tonight... after class I need to get some new poetry out.  /  Actually this afternoon I considered stopping writing  altogether.   7-16-22
• The challenge is to outwardly be true to myself the way I carry daily with all my wants and needs, including my need to give within a real love.
  
• Today has been a difficult day and coming home from work is no better. I/m moderately depressed coming home and finding my clothing in piles on the couch. 7-27-22
• Very nice email from Emily at the office today complementary of my support. Need to crank the prayers up tonight. 7-28-22
• Finished turning in my remaining work for the semester tonight. /  Having a bit of a tooth ache.7-30-22
• Difficult day emotionally. One good affirmation however.  7-31-22
