Journal Bits

A Sampling from my journals since
the first of the year.

• January 2nd -Got the saxophone out tonight and spent some time on it. 
• January 2nd- Creativity = both novel and useful 
• January 8th - I really detest what has happened to TV. It is one technological change that I find has no upside...
• January 11th -- If you brush against death will you come closer to the beginning of the end than is comfortable? 
• January 15,th - If all goes well the project will have workers tomorrow.
• January 16th - Wrote a poem about "hangups" today and played off an idea of a closet full of hangups. 
• January 17, Was able to get enrolled in one class this semester. None of the others on my list worked time-wise. So I'm taking culture; anthropology.
• January 25th - " your eyebrows raised as you looked at your watch and said, well what do you know--"
• January 27th, first mention in my journal of the problems with my right eye. This is significant because I can't recall when this all started so at least I know it was doing it  on this day. 
• Febuary 1st - "the patient is in trouble and most don't kknow that in some places eggs are $6 a dozen.
• February 2nd - Why are you talking that way baby?
• February 8th -  Yes, I acknowledge that over the past few years some of my journaling has been trivial. 
• February 11th - All the things on my mind must have me in gridlock-- when this happens it is like tring to force something.
• February 12th, I need to write some more night poems for "The Night of My Many Sighs" manuscript.
